Shiwen Mao，IEEE Fellow，于纽约大学理工学院（现为纽约大学工学院）获得电子与计算机工程博士学位，奥本大学杰出教授，领导了奥本大学Wireless Engineering Research and Education Center (WEREC). 研究领域包括5G wireless, IoT, and Smart Grid. 2014-2018年担任IEEE的Distinguished Lecturer，2018-2021担任IEEE Distinguished Speaker. 担任IEEE IoT领域编委，担任IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering、IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Multimedia,IEEE Networking Letters,ACM GetMobile and Digital Communications and Networks的编委。获得2019年IEEE通信协会TC-CSR 杰出技术贡献奖，2019年IEEE多媒体协会Distinguished Service Award，2017 IEEE 通信协会 ITC Outstanding Service Award, the 2015 IEEE ComSoC TC-CSR Distinguished Service Award, the 2013 IEEE ComSoc MMTC Outstanding Leadership Award.2010年获得NSF 杰青. 获得IEEE GLOBECOM 2016, IEEE GLOBECOM 2015, IEEE WCNC 2015, and IEEE ICC 2013最佳论文奖, the Best Demo Award from IEEE SECON 2017, the IEEE ComSoc MMTC 2018 Best Conference Paper Award, 2019 IEEE ComSoc MMTC Best Journal Paper Award .
